Unfortunately, in early 2024 we paused the Crew due to low membership.

So, what is Venturing?

Venturing is a Coed Scouts BSA program that has been around for over 20 years. It is for 14-21 year olds, and is designed to be much more youth-led and high adventure centered than your typical scout troop.

Where are Venturing Crews?

Venturing Crews are all over! Crews are usually connected to an existing scout troop, and share the number. Crew 695 is connected with Troop 695, and we meet at Prairie Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

How big of a committment is it?

One very nice thing about Venturing is that it doesn't have to be very high commitment. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 8:00-9:00 pm, and so long as you can keep up to date with emails it is easy to stay informed. Because Venturing is much more youth-led than your typical scout troop, almost all of the planning and communications are done through email or on GroupMe between the youth members.
